$25 Restaurant Certificates For Cheap!

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 125 X 125
There is only one legitimate source for restaurant coupons that I am aware of and it is Restaurant.com. Normally they offer $25 restaurant coupons for $10, which is not a bad deal. What is even better news is the sales they run on a regular basis where you can get these $25 coupons for $2-$5. This is when you must act and scoop up the deal!

So what’s the catch? Who gives away money like that? There are some rules to follow with the offer, but they are reasonable. The coupons come in the form of a restaurant gift certificate that you can print out from your computer. The coupons come in varying denominations so I am offering the following example.

So How Does It Work?

To use a $25 coupon discount you are required to spend at least $50 on food purchases which results in a savings of 50% if you consider that an average dinner for 2 at a decent restaurant will cost you that much. You are making out like Robin Hood with this one!

Because of the $50 spending requirement, I consider this to be more like a coupon than an an actual gift certificate. None the less, this is really an unbelievable deal, especially when the certificates go on sale for just a couple bucks!

Other requirements are that the coupon be presented at the beginning of the meal and an automatic gratuity of 18% “can” be added before the discount is taken. This is done at the discretion of the restaurant, but I think it is a great idea so that the server making $3/hr gets treated fairly.

Having made that statement, if the server decides to treat you like a second class citizen because you present a coupon then I would kindly ask to see the manager and have the gratuity either reduced or removed. Just because you like saving money doesn’t mean that you should be treated differently than any other restaurant patron.

Other stipulations leave the use of the coupon for alcoholic beverages at the discretion of individual restaurants, a limit of one coupon per restaurant per month, one coupon per party, and a minimum party of two people present to use the coupon. The coupon also expires after one year. You can read the terms and conditions section for a complete list, but I think those are the most important things to note.

7,000+ Restaurants to Choose From

I like going out to eat, but it can be plenty expensive! I first looked at Restaurant.com several years ago when they first started and was not impressed due to the limited number of restaurants participating in the program. Since the wake of this horrible economy, over 7,000 restaurants are now participating in the program and they will do just about anything to get you in the door!

Ditch the Chain Restaurants!

Restaurant.com is now one of my favorite ways to save money dining out and the selection of restaurants is enough that you will not get bored. Most of the chain restaurants avoid this website, but who needs them! I have found some award winning locally owned restaurants in my area that I never knew existed and they have excellent food! I feel like Restaurant.com is a win for me and a win for local businesses in my community. Just wait for those coupons to go on sale and you can’t go wrong!
