5 Fun Websites for Life Advice
#1 Anxiety Culture
Anxiety Culture brings you a twisted, yet intriguing view of society to keep you sane in such an insane world. This pop-psychology e-zine offers a vault of ideas and self-improvement articles all while maintaining its cynical, anti-work, and anti-establishment philosophy!
So, what does that all that mean? Anxiety Culture is an interesting read with great advice for every day life. The British e-zine has been praised by both The Guardian and the BBC Online for it’s intriguing content. I agree. They have some very fun and useful information.
Two of my favorite self-improvement articles are How to Stop Worrying and The Art of Avoiding Responsibilites. Avoid boredom and pick up some good life advice from this great website!
#2 Dr. Phil
Yes… I really did put Dr. Phil’s website on this list. LOL. I am embarrassed, but I had to do it because the information is just too good to be ignored. You can learn a lot about life from all the stupid situations that he talks about on his show.
The Dr. Phil website actually has one of the largest and most useful advice databases that I have come across on the web. You can find articles and video about dating, money, parenting, and health. You can even find some decent strategies for succeeding at life in general.
I have to give the guy credit, Dr. Phil has been extremely successful at helping all sorts of people deal with the tough situations that we all face in life.
#3 Lifehack.org
When it comes to useful advice websites I have to include Lifehack.org. They provide daily reading material on “productivity, getting things done, and lifehacks.”
I love this site because it includes works from highly successful writers who contribute their articles to the Lifehack organization for free! Everything is reviewed by a team of editors to prevent spam and unwanted garbage from popping up everywhere. The advice you will find here is priceless!
The Lifehack organization also has over 80,000 blog subscribers which tells me they must be doing something right over there! Topics vary from management, lifestyle, office etiquette, and money, to many other worthwhile topics. This site has great information and will certainly provide you with some great advice for managing life.
#4 Lifehacker.com
Lifehacker.com, not to be confused with Lifehack.org, is another great place to look for life advice. They focus on “tips and downloads for getting things done”, but you can learn all sorts of great things here.
The topics at Lifehacker are all over the board and you can find some great advice for saving money and living better. Learn to make areusable shopping bag out of an old t-shirt or get the top 10 downloads for a road warrior laptop.
Life Hacker has a huge following of people to contribute useful information to the site and has been noticed by major publications like Time and the Wall Street Journal. It is definitely worth your time to check them out.
#5 View Zone
View Zone is a strange conglomeration of bizarre stories, conspiracy, lost history, and intriguing scientific news. Although the authors on this site take a look at society from a strange angle there is a wealth of useful life advice in the psycology section.
My favorite article is how to spot a liar which is a very effective tool for getting the truth out of someone. You can try this technique out at work, at home, at school, or any other social setting. Just remember… sometimes the truth hurts!
